Okay. So I lied.

Well. I lied.

I'm totally not going to be able to get the pictures up by tonight. I definitely didn't realize how much frickin nail polish I had until I had to title a picture of each of them.

So i'm still working on it... Maybe it'll be done tomorrow. :)

THERES SO MUCH POLISH!

Dear God, what have I done?!

That's the only question I asked myself when I got home, sat down, and looked at all the polishes I purchased today. My fiancé saw all of it and asked me if I was TRYING to double my already overflowing collection.

Well. I spent a total of $82 dollars. But thats also including cat food. :)

I started at CVS and I bought the following:
Wet N Wild- Black Creme (crossed off my wish list!)
Wet N Wild- Carribbean Frost
Wet N Wild- Hallucinate
Wet N Wild- Hannah Pinktana
Wet N Wild- Blue Wants to be a Millionare
Essie Luxeeffects- Shine of the Times
Confetti- Ice Ice Baby
Spoiled- Trust Fund Baby

Then I hit up the Dollar Tree. Very disappointed, but I did get some stuff.
Pumice sponge
Nail Brush
File Block
LA Colors- No Name (Blue creme color)
LA Colors- Mega Watt
(and cat food, because they had the super big cans my cats like)

Then.... I went to Sally's. BIGGEST WEAKNESS.
Let me just say... I should NEVER go in this store. Its a DANGER ZONE.  But I bought:
China Glaze- Pool Party
China Glaze- Ride The Waves
Orly- Shine On Crazy Diamond
4 Sally Girl Minis
& A raincheck for Seche Perfect Nail Treatment :]

Finally... THE BIG HAUL... TJ MAXX.
I bought 3 packs of Jessica Custom Colors polish.
Inside:
Oscar Ready (x2)
Shopping on Rodeo (x2)
Malibu Chic
Sunrise
Viper Room
Sparkle
Vineyard Pinot
Sunshine
Nails Gone Bare
Base Coat
Brilliance (Topcoat) x2
& a random non-Jessica polish was inside one of these packages too..
Paint The Town in Shake Your Booty

I also got a 2 pack of Nicole polish in:
Canadian Star & Make U Smile

LA Colors- The whole Starlets collection.
(no names on these)

I'll be posting pictures shortly!

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday, everyone!

Well, its happy for me, at least. :)

I have a day of hauling planned! Luckily for me, I am surrounded by lots of bargain stores around me. Dollar trees are everywhere, so are Rite Aids. I have a Ross AND TJ Maxx near me too, so hopefully I'll get lots of good deals today. :) We'll see.

But... I have received three e-mails saying my ebay items have shipped... At least 3 of them have. My striping tape will be here in 14-22 days (as I said before, shipping from China.), my rhinestones will be here in a couple weeks, and my art brushes will be here in 14-22 days, because they're shipping from Hong Kong. So hopefully it'll ALL be here sooner, rather than later, and I totally hope I get the e-mails from the other sellers saying my other stuff is on its way as well. :)

Well. Madre will be here shortly for a quick trip to the library to fax some stuff for school. Then... ITS HAULIN TIME! <3

I'll post later about my lovely finds! :) Wish me luck!

Happy polishing!

Okay. Well. That took forever.

Alright. Well. I just went through and did a swatch of ALL of my polishes. I started out doing all 5 nails with just one color, but then realized I'd probably run out of remover before I got there. So I started only doing one finger per color. IT TOOK 3 HOURS. Yeah. Probably not my greatest idea, but at least you all know what I'm working with.

Aaaaand on a better note- I WILL BE RECEIVING LOTS OF NAIL MAIL!!!!! I discovered the lovely world of eBay! :) It was my first time bidding on ANYTHING, and I ended up winning my first ever bid... with a HUGEEEE bid of... Wait for it.... ONE CENT. I mean, I paid 3.99 for shipping and handling, but considering its shipping from China? I can't complain. I bought 10 rolls of striping tape in all different colors, all for $4!

But that's not all, folks!
I also bought China Glaze Prismatic polish in Prism, China Glaze Don't Touch My Tiara (a nail salon favorite i've been searching everywhere for!), China Glaze Traffic Jam, Color Club Chelsea Girl, Color Club Almost Famous, a wheel of multicolored rhinestones, a 15 piece nail design brush set, 3 more nail art brushes, 5 dotting tools, and a new bottle of Seche Vite. All for $41, including international shipping on some! Not too bad, considering I spend about $40 on 4 bottles of polish when I go to Sally's.

After careful consideration... I've decided I'm going to take up extreme couponing and bargain hunting. I need more polish, and I need it cheap. I also need it now.    :)

Oh yeah. That's my addict side speaking.

Well I'll be editing my pictures of my swatches later tonight or tomorrow, and they'll be up soon. But I have to warn you... They're crappy pictures, because my mom had my camera, and when she returned it, it was DEAD. So I had to use my phone. So the pictures are NOT of the best quality. If theres any polish you'd want me to re-swatch and let you get a better look, I'd be happy to do so. :) Just drop me a comment!

Anywho,
Happy polishing! <3

Let me explain...

Hello there!
Well first off, let me explain myself. My name is Krystal, and I'm a nail polish addict. It all started when I went to get my nails done at a salon, and ended up paying over $50 for acrylics and a toe polish. The total came up and my jaw literally dropped. Keep in mind, I've been getting my nails done since I was in 3rd grade. Yep. You read that right. 3rd grade. I've had acrylics on my nails since I was in little league soccer. (I quit because I had too many broken nails.) So you can assume how unhealthy my nails were. So after I painfully handed over my debit card to the little asian woman behind the counter, I vowed to myself that I was going to do everything in my power to never let someone charge me so much for something so simple again. I then discovered the do-it-yourself acrylic sets in Sally's and Walmart. Let me just warn you- NEVER DO IT. It TORE MY NAILS UP. I am STILL dealing with weak, brittle nails that have a tendency to break in very painful spots, and I haven't had acrylics on in over 3 months. Well, after realizing that THOSE weren't the best idea, I discovered the press-on's from Kiss. You know, the ones that the Pussycat Doll's singer supports. Well, I must admit... They're pretty good. I liked them, but because I was working in a day care at the time, the kids liked to press them towards my cuticles, which messed with the adhesive underneath, and snapped them off. Even though the breaking was painless, and did not injure my nails whatsoever, I was getting tired of coming home & replacing them. So, I realized I had one option. Plain old nail polish. Well... It's all been addiction from there. It started only buying one occasionally, but that wasn't enough. I got tired of using the same colors, and I've never been one to leave nail polish on long enough to even let it start to chip. If it starts to chip, I pick it all off and I can do nothing but pick at my nails until its all off. So I change it before it gets to that point. So then, I started buying 2 and 3 bottles at a time. Then it got to 4, and 5. I was spending more on nail polish in a month than I had spent on acrylic nails in 3 months. It was BAD. Well, it went on just like that for quite some time, until I met my fiancé, Jason. When I moved in and he saw all my nail polish, I thought he was going to fall over. My collection is steady growing, and Jason is ready to kill me. I quit working once we got engaged so I could plan the wedding & figure out what I wanted to do with my career. He'd come home and I'd be surrounded by bottles. Bottles of nail polish. Being the man that he is, he didn't understand why I needed 4 of the "same color". (FYI- they're totally NOT the same color.) Well, after him yelling at me for a month about my addiction, I decided to put it to use. Cosmetology school. So... Starting July 16th, I will officially be a full-time Cosmetology student. Which means... I'll have lots of tips of the trade to share with YOU! So... Lets get this thing started. I'll be posting pictures of every single one of my polishes, with their names AND brands. I'll also be posting any and all designs I do on my nails. If I take a design idea from another blog or website, I'll be sure to post a link so you'll be able to find a tutorial if I don't post one myself. Wish me luck!
